stayed at sutton staithe for three nights and had a wonderful time. the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, always attentive without being intrusive. the breakfast was freshly made and delicious, and we enjoyed our evenings by the log burner with great food and drinks. it’s right by the river, perfect for exploring!

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the cozy double room and the lovely breakfast options they had. The sun terrace was perfect for morning coffee, and the garden provided a nice spot to unwind. The shower was a bit tricky, as it had a mind of its own, but it didn’t ruin our experience. 😊

It’s worth noting that the hotel’s interior felt dated, with visible wear and tear, like a shower head that could use a deep clean and light fixtures that seemed to be on the verge of falling down. Accessibility issues arose with parking, which could turn into a swamp after rain, making the trek to the hotel an unfortunate excursion. the view out our window left something to be desired, staring straight at an unsightly row of bins.

Despite these issues, the overall vibe and hospitality made it a pleasant stay.
